RosiQuilts Longarming News:
NOTICES:
Currently quoting 4 weeks from drop-off for quilting services, excluding vacation time.
Please note, if you ask for a date that is more than 4 weeks from drop-off, I will work to that date.
Transitioning to Glide thread on top and So Fine in the bobbin.
Most designs are charged at 2.25¢ per square inch. Some more complicated or more dense designs are charged up to 3.5¢ per square inch. If you have selected a more expensive design, you will be contacted, for confirmation, shortly after you submit your longarming form.
Small quilts, 1900 square inches or less, cost a flat $50.00 per quilt, assuming that a 2.25¢ design is chosen.
You can supply your own batting, or for quilts 84” wide and less, you can purchase Warm and Natural batting at 30¢ a linear inch - just indicate your selection on the longarming form.
There are also several different trimming and binding options available. Binding requires trimming the quilt, so you will be charged for trimming if you select a binding option. If you do select a binding option, please include the binding fabric(s) when you drop off your quilt top and backing.
Trimming is charged at 8¢ per linear inch, binding on one side (ready for hand finishing) is 25¢ per linear inch, and completely finished binding (by machine) is 35¢ per linear inch.
Two payment options are available - payment by check, or by Venmo. Venmo payments must be received prior to pick-up. Cash is not accepted.
If you cannot find the perfect E2E design on my website, please give me an idea of what you are looking for and I will contact you shortly after form submission.
Please note: Submitted forms will be replied to during normal business hours - usually same day.
Before continuing please take a look at the Longarming Preparation Page.
Please note that if quilt tops require repair or extra work before they can be longarmed, (for example if the borders are wavy, or if loose threads have not been trimmed, or if seams are open) then a charge of $25 will apply for every hour or portion of an hour required to correct issues.
